# Sandbox test environment

> Use Anyway's sandbox hosts to test your integration before switching to production.

Use Anyway's **sandbox test environment** to test your integration. Replace the production hosts with the sandbox hosts below.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Features in the sandbox test environment may be unstable, and data may be cleared at any time.

## Environment addresses

| Surface | Sandbox | Production |
| - | - | - |
| Merchant API | `https://merchant-api-stg.anyway.sh` | `https://merchant-api-prod.anyway.sh` |
| Webhook signature verification: fetch public key | `https://webapp-api-stg.anyway.sh/v1/webhooks/signing-key` | `https://api.anyway.sh/v1/webhooks/signing-key` |
| Web app / dashboard | `https://stg.anyway.sh` | `https://app.anyway.sh` |
| Payment links (examples) | `https://stg.anyway.sh/pay/PL86fdCVV...` | `https://pay.anyway.sh/pay/PL34GUI...` |

The payment links above show the URL format. Use the actual payment link created in the corresponding environment.

## Authentication and API paths

Authentication methods and API paths are the same in the sandbox and production environments. For example, the Merchant API uses the `X-API-Key` header in both environments. Keep the API path and request format unchanged when switching hosts:

* `/v1/product`
* `/v1/orders`
* `/v1/subscriptions`
* `/v1/customers`
* `/v1/entitlements/check`

For request details, see [Merchant API](https://docs.anyway.sh/api-reference/merchant-api.md). For signature verification, see [Webhooks](https://docs.anyway.sh/features/webhooks.md).
